Who knew that moving house in the middle of a pandemic would totally affect my posting schedule? We bought a house in early August, and have been getting settled in since then. Almost feeling fully sorted out - at least my little space is useful!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🌱If you're able to do swipe up's in Instagram, it should be disclosed on the Story that contains the affiliate link⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱If you're including a link in the blog post, you'll need to put something within the same post (the simplest way to do this is to highlight affiliate links with a symbol after them, but you should explain what that symbol means within the same post)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you're talking in your Instagram stories, you're doing your followers a disservice if you're not captioning them! Apps like @clipomatic (our favourite!), @mixcaptions and @KapwingApp (which is browser based, so probably better for IGTV captioning) make it easy, or you can write them on yourself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Captioning your videos isn't just good for those followers who are hearing impaired, but it's also good for those of us who watch Stories without the sound on - maybe someones catching up with your Stories while they're on a boring zoom call, captioning the Stories means they don't lose out!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Automation is really useful for your site, for those times that you can't be everywhere at once. Have you considered implementing the following?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍃Connect your blog to Pinterest so it can automatically post new blog posts⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌴Use @planoly to automatically post Instagram posts⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍀Look into using IFTTT to post to the social media platforms you tend to neglect - if you're not using Twitter very much, use recipes to automatically share your posts from Instagram, etc over there⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿Connect your Instagram to Pinterest - did you know you can pin Instagram posts? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A little more about us - the origins of this site can date back to 2012...but it's only the recent changes that we've all gone through that have brought it to life!
